| After years in the customer service industry as an Office Manager, I have incorporated fine tuned skills in organization and execution into my life's dream as an entrepreneur. Since a young girl I have been considered a social butterfly. Often planning birthday parties and baby showers along with other events for family members and friends. My desire to create beauty in art grew stronger as I matured in age. I had an interest in Interior Decorating, with that interest I started creating floral center-pieces, gift baskets, wall hangings and other decorative items. I also started designing gift baskets for the bridal showers and baby showers I planned. When asked to coordinate a family members wedding I was ready for the job. After that experience is when I discover I had found my place in the artistic realm. I began planning and helping create dream weddings on a regular basis for family friends and referrals. The ability to create the visions of a brides perfect day gave me confidence that this was where I needed to be. The desire to help develop someones dream was awesome. Planning and creating weddings soon became a passion for me. I am a connoisseur of the hottest wedding tends and pride myself on the ability to encourage and support my clients through every step of their "tailored to style" wedding day journey. I am the columnist for the "Ask the Wedding Planner" Column that features in the Urban Entertainment Newspaper. I am a member of the Association For Wedding Professionals International and The National Professional Black Women's Networking Alliance. I am a member of the Black Chamber and the Chamber Commerce. I am dedicated to making your dream wedding a reality in a cost effective manner. |
